The group is co-led by Jan Altman and Rebecca Hurst, clinicians at the University Counseling Services. Altman is also VCU’s Safe Zone coordinator.

This social support group is interactive and will explore issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity. It will provide a safe space to get information, connect with others in the VCU community, and seek support with relationships, family and friends, coming out, transitioning, questioning, and identity development.
