On Saturday, April 9, the Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Gerontology celebrates its 35th Anniversary with “Creativity and Aging.”
The event at the Virginia Historical Society includes a silent auction and keynote speaker Dr. Baxter Perkinson.
Funds generated during the event will be applied toward the Department of Gerontology’s educational scholarships through the MCV Foundation. Over the next 20 years, a total of 80,000,000 adults will be over the age of 65.
The Creativity and Aging Gala is April 9, 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., at the Virginia Historical Society, 428 N. Boulevard. Tickets are $15 for students, $35 for alums, and $50 for general admission. For tickets and more information click here.
