Students at the University of Richmond host their own vigil tonight, Wednesday, October 6, to show their support for recent suicide victims. The candlelight vigil will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the University Forum – located next to the Tyler Haynes Commons building. For a campus map, click here.
On the LGBTQ flag, purple represents spirit. Let’s all wear Purple in spirit of those missed LGBTQ boys and girls that have taken their own lives due to homophobic abuse at home or in school. Show some respect, show you care. We can’t let intolerance and ignorance take another person’s life. So if you cant come at least wear purple this gay or another LGBT themed clothing.
