Watch your mouth. You may have to put your change in the RVA Swear Jar.
But it’s okay, with the new guerrilla goodness campaign from Kindness Girl, you can help raise money for ROSMY.
Via SwearingIsCaring.com, during the month of March, money collected in the jar will benefit the organization that promotes an inclusive and safe environment for LGBT youth. A new charity will be selected each month.
Inspired by her son’s response to her own sailor swears, site founder Patience Salgado officially launched the fundraiser yesterday. It was Salgado’s 10-year-old son that asked her to watch her words. A blog reader asked how they could join in which led to the beginning of the new internet campaign. In 24-hours, the site has already raised $20.

While trying to clean up your language, you can make a donation to a local RVA charity for every moment a four letter word slides. Don’t wanna give it up? Drop some change in the jar and feel better about that sailor mouth! Make your mom proud or have her match your donation. Let’s see what kind of sharing our swearing brings! Every quarter counts!
