Senator McEachin’s Non-Discrimination Bill To Be Heard In House Subcommittee This Afternoon

Just in from Senator Donald McEachin’s office:
Richmond – This afternoon, at 5 pm in the 4 west conference room of the General Assembly Building, Senator A. Donald McEachin’s non-discrimination bill (sb747) which would codify sexual orientation as prohibited discrimination for state employees and his bill on state employee health benefits (sb1122) will be heard in the House of Delegates General Laws subcommittee.
Various organizations and a variety of individuals will be present, hoping to have the opportunity to testify and explain the significant difference these two pieces of legislation could make in their lives.
