Well folks, it’s that time of year again. As the grass gets greener, and the temps get hotter, Pride season nationally takes the front stage, and Richmond is not one to get left out! Take a look at our break down of Virginia Pride 2013 here, but for the time being, we’ve got promotions to worry about.
Pride Over Richmond is the city’s campaign to help bring LGBT folks from around the country here to RVA. While the budget is small, the intentions are big – and successful past campaigns have given us the chance to experiment some.
We had a great model search last year, and now we’re making it even easier to enter, and while a prize will be given once the second phase of the campaign begins in August, right now, we need your help telling folks to come to our home town!

1 – Download Instagram on your smart phone
2 – Take a self-portrait (selfie) of you and your friends – ideally in some Richmond-y location, or even just enjoying your day around town.
#RVAPride is whatever makes you love RVA as a member of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, or ally community! Yes, straight folks can get in on the fun too!
