Last month, the University of Virginia recognized ROSMY for building a system of support for LGBT youth in Central Virginia.
The UVA Teen Health Center presented Executive Director Beth Panilaitis with the second community adolescent advocate award for it’s work in Charlottesville. The award was part of UVA’s seventh Teen Culture Conference – an event spotlighting challenges to today’s teens.
“It’s been a wonderful journey for us,” Panilaitis told Charlottesville’s NBC 29.
