ROSMY Premieres Middle School Support Group

ROSMY has announced a new weekly support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning middle school students.
Beginning this summer, group meetings will be held on Wednesday evenings for eight weeks at the ROSMY youth center on 2311 Westwood Ave., and are open to all youth ages 12-13. Topics addressed will include trust-building, relating to others, relationships and friendships, getting along in society and self-identity.
Since 1991 ROSMY has provided a variety of support groups to LGBTQ youth ages 14-20.
Zack Budryk, a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, has been writing since age 10 working towards a career of advocacy-based investigative journalism.
