As always, our annual Equality Prayer Breakfast will feature a hearty breakfast to feed our bodies—but more than that, we will receive rich inspiration for our spirits. And our special guests will be members of the Virginia House and Virginia Senate.
Speakers include State Senator Donald McEachin; Captain Anthony Wood, decorated former Army Captain who was removed from active duty (after two tours in Iraq) for being openly gay; Rev. Dr. Cathie Stivers, Unitarian Universalist minister and Chaplain at Children’s Hospital in Richmond; Rabbi Ben Romer of Congregation Or-Ami in Richmond; and Rev. Alex Evans of Second Presbyterian in Richmond, VA.
The suggested donation for the breakfast is $20 (more if you can, less if you can’t). Register below and then make a payment online or via check. If paying by check, mail your donation to POFEV, PO Box 4919, Richmond, VA 23220 (please indicate on your check that your donation is for the Prayer Breakfast). All donations are tax deductible.
