Observe World AIDS Day, this Thursday, December 1, at Metropolitan Community Church of Richmond (MCC) at a moving 7:00 pm service. The focus of World AIDS Day this year is “Getting to Zero: Zero new HIV infections. Zero discrimination. Zero AIDS-related deaths.”
The service is a joint offering of MCC Richmond and St. John’s United Church of Christ. Rev. Jon Heaslet of St. John’s and Rev. Robin Gorsline of MCC Richmond will preside.
This is a day for all—as we witness to the lives lost to HIV/AIDS, and lives being lived with HIV/AIDS, and the hope for a world without HIV/AIDS.
MCC Richmond is located at 2501 Park Avenue, Richmond, VA 23220. For more information, please contact 804/353-9477 or RevRobinG@MCCRichmond.org
