Published writer Randy Marshall will teach a six-week “Reading & Writing LGBT Lives” seminar at the Gay Community Center of Richmond. The workshop will explore readings of important LGBT figures of the 20th century in multiple genres including short stories, poetry, & essays.
The classes are open to all skill levels looking to explore how the pages of our own lives might be written into the evolving history of this diverse community.
Marshall holds an MFA in creative writing and has had works appear in the Richmond Arts Magazine, GSU Review, Cream City Review, and Blackbird.
The six Wednesday meetings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. begin July 27 and run through August 31.
