These honorees are gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Virginians who have made a mark. Some are activists whose courage and dedication to equality have influenced our movement. Others are GLBT elected officials, entertainers, or business leaders who have achieved great success.
They are continuing the this recognition at the next Annual Commonwealth Dinner to be held May 1, 2010. Nominations are now being accepted to honor five more OUTstanding Virginians at the event. The nomination form can be found here and is due by December 31, 2009.
A committee will review all submissions and compile a list to be approved by EV’s Board of Directors in the spring.
