The amazing Vice TV show “Gaycation” puts actress Ellen Page in some of the craziest and sometimes dangerous situations imaginable. The actress and lesbian, along with her best friend Ian Daniel, have gone to Brazil, Japan, Jamaica and a nice cross-country US road trip documenting the life of LGBTQ folks along the way.
There were high points, like watching a Japanese man come out to his mom who at first rejected him, only to embrace him moments later. And there were scary points like when they interviewed a Brazilian hitman who specialized in killing gay folks because of who they loved.
The Emmy nominated show manages to be both fierce and fearless and it’s back for a second season where good and bad moments are both sure to arise.

Sadly you can only watch full episodes if you have a subscription to Vice TV (which comes in some cable packages now) but you can usually watch the episodes for free shortly after their release.
