Diversity Thrift To Open New Location In Fan
Read More: Diversity Thrift, Fan, Gay Community Center of Richmond, GCCR
The Gay Community Center of Richmond has signed a lease for a storefront in the Fan. The second location for Diversity Thrift would operate as a smaller boutique serving neighborhood residents and nearby VCU students.
The new store is slated to open before the end of the year.
Diversity Thrift moved its previous operation from Allen & Cary to it’s current 15,000 sq. foot facility within the GCCR complex in the Northside. Profits generated by sales at Diversity Thrift are used to benefit Richmond’s LGBT community. According to the Center’s 10th Anniversary Report, Diversity Thrift accounts for almost 50% of the GCCR’s operating revenue.
More details are expected on GayRichmond.com later today.
