DC’s longrunning LGBT newspaper, the Washington Bladefeatured Richmond as a quick getaway for LGBT travelers in last week’s edition.
The Blade makes particular note of LGBT-friendly lodging such as the Linden Row Inn and the Maury Place at Monument Bed and Breakfast. Also singled out for praise by the publication are gay-owned restaurant Chez Foushee and The Empress.
The Blade praise the various aspects of the Richmond arts scene, including the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the Richmond Triangle Players theater, as well as popular LGBT nightlife spots such as Babes of Carytown, Godfrey’s and Nations.
