The Open Door Resource Center has signed on with AIDSWalk Richmond today as a fiscal agent for anyone who would like to make their donations tax deductible. The organization has stepped forward volunteering its services to handle donations until AIDSWalk Richmond receives its 501c3 status. AIDSWalk Director Scott Sibley says his organization will be forming an independent board of directors to make decisions on distributing the donations through a grant application process.

The 2300 Club is supporting this fundraising event by the placement of a white box with black ribbon for the collection of donations.
Other venues that are supporting this cause are Barcode, Halligan’s Bar, City Dogs, LuLus, Zuppa, ChaChas, and The Lucky Buddha, so if you can’t come out to The 2300 Club to support Helpful Happy Hour, you can still do so at any of those restaurants.
