The VA PrideFest was as fun and enjoyable as I had expected, considering the humidity was literally trying to kill my hair weave. The Diva loves her hair, so you can imagine how frustrated I was when my bangs were a little sweaty. Anyway, I enjoyed everything that the PrideFest was about and can not wait until next year, when I can volunteer. I had an opportunity to talk with a few of the vendors about the services they offered and how they are working to support the LGBT community, I also was able to talk with some of the people in the crowd about how much fun they were having supporting love and diversity for all. It was nothing short of amazing, and I would love to share some pics from my experience.
The GaptoothDiva was on patrol, looking for the most stylish and fashion forward individuals in attendance. Although, many of the people who came out were unique in their own way, consider this my “nice” way of saying…I found a few that were just a little more fierce than the rest.
I had a blast! I watched in green envy as one ”little monster” in attendance won a trip to Miami to see Lady Gaga, courtesy of the wonderful people at Q94. I must find this person and convince him that I should tag along. I don’t know if I can, but these triple D’s say it’s worth a try. Everyone loves big breast, right? Oh, Let me stop.
Thanks to all the “Divas and Divos” who didn’t mind striking a pose for fashion sake!
