Saturday’s Skiviez show revolved around seven male models on the Barksdale Theatre stage wearing different styles ranging from classic briefs to the more revealing with strategically misplaced fabric.
There were several prominent colors in the show. Dual-colored styles were popular throughout with blues and reds being a common combination as well as yellow red and blue, and black and white.
Their Kyle house brand was relaunched with an entire scene dedicated to it. The signature black waistband was paired with blue, red and white with alternate colored pouch panels that add dimension to the style. The fabric is a cotton blend that allows more elasticity and dimensional stability than most underwear styles permit.
There is nothing like Katy Perry to usher in a beach scene. The scene featured fun swim styles like a nautical printed pair of swim briefs complete with an anchor on the hip. Another standout was a dinosaur printed swim brief that was both fun and fashionable. More full coverage shorts were present for the conservative beach goers with bright prints and patterns. These shorts were cut right above the knee.
What fashion show would be complete without a scantily clad pillow fight? The boys played around onstage in sleepwear and underwear, a scene I am sure many will dream about for years to come.
Other scenes featured lace up styles and pieces perfect for after hours. Mesh styles were present along with costumes that are sure to be a hit. To get in on this underwear revolution be sure to check out the Skiviez collection here.
