Meet Helena, Co-Producer for “Don’t Hate, Celebrate” a fashion show benefitting the Gay Community Center of Richmond.
Lena, as she is affectionally called by friends, is a qualified stylist and is currently in her last year of study to receive a Bachelors of Arts in Fashion Merchandising. A big believer in “Fashion is for Everyone”, Lena supports anyone willing to take a chance and be different.
Helena is no stranger to the fashion industry having spent five years as a visual merchandiser and stylist which has taught her the importance of individuality. She has been a Student Advisor for UR fierce, the President of T.A.M.M, The fashion facilitator for the Mayor’s Youth Academy of Richmond, VA , the fashion show producer for T.A.M.M and a dresser for Richmond Fashion Week.
Helena’s love for diversity is what brought her to this project ” Diversity isn’t just about someones sexual orientation or nationality. It is the fact that we are all different and bring something to this world, because if we were all alike this would be one color-less world, and I’m sorry I love color and lots of it”, proclaims Lena.

Meet Vance, model & stylist. Vance has been modeling for a year now walking small local shows in DC and RVA Fashion Week.
