Furniture Trend: Folding Screens.
Whether made out of wood or iron or upholstered in fabric, folding screens are making a comeback in rooms. They help to take up space and add height to dark or wasted room corners as well as sectioning off areas of a larger room. Screens also serve as places to hang artwork or mirrors where no wall is present. Have a room that doubles as a guest room occasionally? Use a folding screen to add private spaces within public areas. Over the next few months, look for more screens being featured in stores and shelter magazines.
