“Musicians for ROSMY” is a one night only performance of some of Virginia’s hottest singer/songwriters coming together to help Va’s GLBTQ youth.
Join these musicians in supporting ROSMY’s mission: Andy Moore, Radcliffe Burt, Endymion, Amy Henderson, and more. The bands will be immediately followed by a special performance of the Babes Drag King show. The entire evening is 21+ and has a door cost of $10.
ROSMY is an organization dedicated to supporting safe and healthy sexual and gender identity development for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth, ages 14 – 20, in Virginia. We offer a variety of programming at our youth center, including weekly support groups, monthly social events, and leadership training. We also house an extensive resource library which is available to both youth and concerned adults; further, we offer a training through our Institute for Equality for adults who work with LGBTQ youth.
Despite the fact that one in three women have abortions in their lifetime, the long-standing stigma surrounding the procedure still persists.
