Nothing says a good time like some authentic Cuban food and Kuba Kuba is the place to be
Located at 1601 Park Ave, this bright, culture-filled restaurant is a great place to broaden your tastes and impress a date.
The food ranges from the delicious to the mouth watering. Try the chicken pineapple sandwich. You won’t be sorry. And the plantains (fried bananas) are to die for.
The atmosphere of the place is a little crazy. The place is very popular and almost always crowded – especially around dinner. The types of people at Kuba Kuba are usually the VCU hipster crowd or young Fan-living families.
Make friends with the people sitting next to you. There won’t be much room between you. This is not the place for intimate conversation. You won’t have much alone time here. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Thinking of Kuba Kuba always makes me hungry. I really want some plantains now…
