While all eyes have been on President Donal Trump, LGBTQ activists and creatives are not letting VP Mike Pence slip under their radar. Pence’s stance on LGBTQ issues, from same-sex marriage, to religious freedom, conversion therapy and more, is well documented and he’s not a friend of the fam.
But, considering the upcoming holiday, one online creative has created a project to let LGBTQ and allies know his views are not acceptable or feasible as laws.
“This February, love is in the air,” reads the intro on Valentines4Pence.com. ”Unfortunately, so is a bunch of racist, xenophobic, anti-LGBTQ rhetoric.”
The website invites visitors to pick a valentine from available designs and share them with “America’s favorite homophobe,” Vice President Mike Pence.
The site’s creator hopes “to remind him you’re here, you’re queer, and you’re not backing down.”
