The Richmond Hippodrome has announced the premiere of Ritz & Revelry, a monthly vintage-themed stage show.
The show, a tribute to the theater entertainment of the vaudeville era, will premiere on Feb. 11 at 8:00 p.m. with “The Garden of Love”, a Valentine’s Day-themed event; future shows will feature various other vintage themes, ranging from the Jazz Age to the Rat Pack era.
The shows will feature entertainment such as tap dancing, singing and comedy skits from various Richmond-based entertainers, including the Garter Snaps, Ms. Erin Devine and the Richmond Comedy Coalition. Each event will be emceed by Miss Magnolia Jackson Pickett Burnside, voted Richmond’s Best Drag Performer of 2011.
Tickets for each event are $20 for premium seating and $15 for general admission and may be purchased in advance or at the door; cocktail attire is required.
