Wicked, referred to as the “best musical of the decade,” by Entertainment Weekly, will be returning to Richmond on Oct. 5, 2011. After breaking box office records and selling out in record time last year, the performance will be at the Landmark Theater from Oct. 5 through Oct. 16, 2011. Cameron Carpenter at the Byrd Theater
Think about glitz, glamour, passion and intensity? What’s the result? It’s a sequined-filled performance by organist Cameron Carpenter to benefit the Byrd Theater. Carpenter started playing the organ at the age of 4, after seeing an image of someone playing an organ in a cinema. Carytown Food and Wine Festival
Sip on wine and stroll around Carytown during the eighth annual Carytown Food and Wine Festival. There will be wines provided from all across the region as well as decadent food.
