Attend this documentary hosted by VMFA that follows lesbian filmaker Sonali Gulati, who returns home to India and deals with the loss of her mother. Unfortunately, Gulati never got the chance to come out to her mother. The event is Friday, July 15 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and viewers will have a chance to meet Gulati. Miss Esta Bunny, Stormie Saunders, Divika Monroe, Candy Pantzzz, Natasha Carrington and Maganolia Jackson Pickett Burnside will all be performing at a triple-wide (trailer that is) show. Each diva will be performing a new act, an old act and borrowing an act from a fellow performer. The show is from 8 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 17. Andy Moore’s Final Show
MCC Richmond presents Andy Moore at the Gay Community Center of Richmond Saturday at 8 p.m. Recently, she announced that she would be moving out to California. Moore has toured nationally with artist Eric Himan and share the stage with artists including Melissa Ferrick, Dan Burns and Beth Hart. Tickets can be purchased online here for $7 or at the door for $8. Event is from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m.
