Oh man, you’d think with the weather as nice as its supposed to be today I wouldn’t be such a downer – but here I am, 11 AM listening to The Cure.
No doubt Robert Smith’s vocals and The Cure’s haunting melodies have been a support blanket for many of us at one point or another. The Cure really helped define that 80′s slant dancing music that we only listen to on dark days. New Order and The Smiths will be future members of the SOTD club, for sure – but for now, enjoy the dreary nature of this song, channel those Wednesday blues into this 6 minute overture and then shake them off – Only a few days left till friday.
