Sistah Sinema, a monthly series showcasing queer women of color cinema, is hosting an event this weekend at Capital Ale House.
The organization will screen “While You Weren’t Looking” a film directed by Catherine Stewart that takes a look at South Africa’s LGBTQ community. The film is produced by The Out in Africa Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and centers around the lives and experiences of those living in Cape Town.
