Next week, the Richmond LGBT Meetup group is getting together to catch up with old friends, meet some new ones, throw back a few drinks and nibble on some great food all for a good cause.
The local group will meet at Belle and James restaurant on July 28 for a happy hour to benefit Virginia Pride. Belle and James, which is located at 700 E. Main St., will be serving food and drink specials along with a signature cocktail and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Virginia Pride.
RVA’s LGBT Meetup group will also be raffling off several door prizes in honor of Virginia PRIDE, whose PrideFest commences Sept. 24 on Brown’s Island-stay tuned for more details on that. Raffle tickets will be $5 each or 5 for $20.
There will be a $5 cover charge for this event. The happy hour will go from 6 to 8 pm.
Calling all thirsty craft beer drinkers, next week you will have the chance to raise a glass for a good cause.
