The Queer Film Forum is a platform for screening progressive Queer cinema. It offers a space to view and discuss work from local, regional, and international artists and directors. The goal of the QFF is to generate a critical discourse about what queer cinema was, is, and could become. The Queer Film Forum presents an environment of tolerance that seeks to screen larger distribution films, while encouraging local and independent filmmakers to screen finished and developing film projects. The ultimate mission of the QFF, however, is to lay a foundation for what will eventually become the Richmond Queer Film Festival of 2012.
The first screening is schedule on Sunday, May 8 at 3 p.m. with film and location to be announced.
