The Richmond Symphony will close its 2011-2012 season with “The Music of Queen: A Rock & Symphonic Spectacular” on Saturday, May 19.
Created in 2008, the show features a full band and lead performers from the London West End musical “We Will Rock You.” All performers auditioned for and were selected by original Queen members Brian Taylor and Roger May. The show features various selections from over the course of Queen’s four-decade career, including “Somebody to Love,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and “We Are the Champions.”
Tickets for “The Music of Queen: A Rock & Symphonic Spectacular” will be available starting April 2.
