The Richmond chapter of Parents & Friends of Lesbians and Gays meets tomorrow, October 13, at the ROSMY building on 2311 Westwood Avenue.
PFLAG of Richmond meetings are structured to have time sharing about families and concerns. The discussion is confidential for those comfortable speaking. There is also a program of specific interest to our community.
The group will also be electing our Board members at this month’s meeting. This month’s program is Tammy Franges of United Methodist Family services, a nonprofit childplacing agency. The program focuses on adoption and foster care of GLBTQ children and youth.
Tammy is a mom with 4 adopted children and 4 biological children, one of whom is lesbian.
Meetings are second Tuesday of the month 6:30 – 8:30 at 2311 Westwood Avenue, Richmond, 23230.
