We were taken back to the 1930’s when Burlesque was at it’s peak with the amazing talents of Richmond Varietease performers Dolly, Boo Boo, and Charlie, who along with the rest of their troop gave us one great act after another each ending with a great reveal of rhine stone covered tatas with tassels.
They performed last Sunday night at Nations with Mistress of Ceremonies Miss Magnolia Jackson Pickett Burnside, who had the audience laughing to tales of her and her poor sister Bernice’s adventures into the big city.
If you missed them on Sunday you can see their next show Soul Party at the Canal Club on Aug 29th Doors open at 8 p.m. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10, 21 and older.
