According to the RTP, the production takes on universal issues of loss, love, hope and forgiveness and turns them into a good feeling, toe tapping, heart-warming, fun time that will make audiences laugh and perhaps even shed a tear. The show is staged with a minimal set, workshop-style. It’s the first workshop production at RTP.

The musical features Toby, an unemployed actor on the verge of an emotional breakdown who has agreed to teach an acting class at a local community college. But what Toby desperately needs are some angels to help her survive her personal crisis. As Toby sets about helping her students find their places in the world, guess what – angels!
Well-known actress Robyn O’Neill makes her RTP debut as Toby. The rest of the cast includes Terri Moore, Scott Melton, Chloe Williams, Andrew Etheredge, Leah Hicks, Georgi Hicks, Jason Campbell, Tyler Houchins, Katie McCall and Lanaya Burnette. Musical Direction is by Tony Williams.

Tonight at 5:30 pm across the country, an estimated 700 theaters will participate in an event called The Ghostlight Project.
