Meet Kelly Stern: Virginia Native and self-made reporter and producer.
Kelly won awards for his work reporting and producing, including an award from the Virginia Associated Press. Since then he has made his way to Richmond, where he met his partner eight years ago and last September they were married in DC. Kelly is in the insurance brokerage industry and enjoys golf, blogging and being surrounded by family, friends and fun.
Kelly is helping with Fashion for a Cause because he lost his friend Laird Petersen last October. He passed after a 27 year fight with HIV. Laird worked for Fan Free Clinic and loved everyone there, loved helping people, and loved everthing it did for the Richmond community.
Kelly hopes that by doing this and helping with other Fun For A Cause fundraisers, he can help Fan Free Clinic continue all the important work that they do.
Watch Kelly rock the runway at Fashion For A Cause March 26th. Visit www.gayrva.com/fashion for tickets and additional information.
