Richmond’s second annual LGBT Film Festival has been set for November 5 and 6. Reel Pride Richmond, presented by ROSMY, will be held at the Gottwald Playhouse at Richmond CenterStage.
Three films have been announced with more coming. Topp Twins chronicles country-singing comic duo from New Zealand; FIT tackles homophobic bullying; and 8: The Mormon Proposition documents the business behind Prop 8.
Reel Pride Richmond is Virginia’s leading LGBT Film Festival, attendees will have the unique opportunity to view documentaries, dramas and comedies reflecting the best and most compelling films as well as meet such behind the scenes talent as producers, directors and actors.
Due to the overwhelming response to last years Festival, Reel Pride Richmond has this season moved to Richmond CenterStage, Richmonds beautiful new Performing Arts Center. The Festival will be held in the Gottwald Playhouse with a Friday night cocktail reception and an after party held in the adjoining reception spaces.
All proceeds from the festival go to supporting ROSMY and LGBT youth in the area.
