Next Thursday, Sept. 1, marks the start of Virginia Pride month, celebrating and honoring the entire LGBTQ community. You can kick yours off right at VA Pride and OutRVA‘s celebration at Quirk Hotel.
At the party, guests will have the opportunity to taste two craft beers exclusively made for VA Pride and OutRVA, a collaboration with Ardent Craft Ales and Center of the Universe brewing.
Georgie, a mixed berry pale ale from Ardent Craft Ales and Porgie, a chocolate pudding porter created by Center of the Universe will be released for the first time in support of the LGBTQ community specifically for Pride month.

DJ Amy Alderman will be spinning tunes and limited edition Georgie Porgie glassware will be available with a donation. There is no cost for admission, but Virginia Pride’s bucket brigade will be on-site to help keep Pridefest on September 24 at Brown’s Island free.
The Pride kickoff party Sept 1. at Quirk’s rooftop bar will run from 6 to 9 pm. An afterparty will follow at Barcode.
