Last night, we got the chance to meet one of the performers in Saturday’s “SayLove” multimedia show at the Gay Community Center of Richmond and she was telling us about all of the excitement. We also Judd Proctor from the Rainbow Minute on WRIR earlier in the day. He had rave reviews of the show’s performance at VCU.
You can check out SayLove on Saturday at 8 p.m. From the GCCR:

Dance/Movement: One movement piece dealing with bisexuality and One movement dealing with growing up and coming out
Photography/Art: Photographs showing love between same sex couples to be displayed about the space.
Solo stories: A solo piece about the struggle between the male and female side of oneself and growing up transgendered. Also we will have a couple of spoken word poets and monologists sharing their experiences and self discovery.
All the above are original pieces by the individual ensemble members
Final Full Ensemble piece: Utilizing the whole ensemble to deliver parts of speeches from leaders within the community, news media, etc.
Rainbow Minutes: These one minute moments about people in LGBTQ history are used as transitions to tie the show together, and educate the audience.
