Award winning singer/songwriter, Julie Clark, will be returning to Richmond on Oct. 1 at the Gay Community Center of Richmond.
Originally from Norfolk, Clark has been named Folk/Acoustic Artist of the Year at the Virginia Music Awards. She has also won the Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Competition and first place in the Great American Song Contest.
Clark’s second full-length album plunges straight into every emotion, ranging light-heartedness to deep complex feelings. Whatever the emotion, Change Your Mind, glimmers with vivid lyrics and crystal clear quality of her recordings.
Clark’s songwriting and lyricism brings a pleasant surprise of honesty and insight that is addressed through a broad range of human experience.
