“What’s your damage Heather?”
I think we all remember that line from the 80s cult classic, “Heathers.” And if you don’t well something went wrong during your childhood.
Get ready to travel back to your teen years with the popular yet hated clique made up of four high school girls because the film is slated to be revived as a TV show with an “LGBT-friendly angle” , according to the Washington Blade.
The show will air on TV Land and all your favorite characters are back, but some have a twist. Heather McNamara, played by Lisanne Falka in the film, will be a Black lesbian and Heather Duke, originally played by Shannen Doherty, is gender-queer. Duke’s real name will be Heath according to the Washington Blade article.
Of course, the plot of the show will follow the film and Veronica Sawyer will be back, but its not clear yet if Winona Ryder will revive her role.
