The new Richmond Liberty Trail will connect 6.2 miles of the Richmond Region history with a simple spray painted logo. The trail will help visitors better navigate the area on foot and will link many of the Region’s important tourism assets. Volunteers are needed to spray paint the sidewalks starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 6 before Civil War and Emancipation Day begins. We hope you can join in the fun!

Equality Virginia’s 10th Annual Commonwealth Dinner is the state’s largest black-tie gala gathering for the Virginia LGBT community and supporters. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment from noted invitees, a silent auction, and the opportunity to meet and network with other members of the LGBT community and allies.
This year’s special guest is Mayor Cory Booker of Newark, New Jersey. Booker is a rising political star known for his innovative ideas, bold actions, and longtime support of LGBT equality. He has been named TIME’s most 100 influential people, and has also received recognition in Esquire and the New York Times Magazine for his leadership. This 10th Annual Commonwealth Dinner will sure be an evening to remember.
