The GCCR Gallery is putting together a new exhibit featuring work from up and coming artists. From GayRichmond.com:
The GCCR Gallery is seeking the work of aspiring LGBT artists in Central Virginia. We have an unexpected opening in our show schedule, and we plan to use that time to showcase the work of local artists who do not regularly show their work in other galleries. This is a great chance for you part-time sculptors, painters, photographers, and potters to put some of your work on display in a gallery setting! We’re seeking work in all media to create a diverse and interesting show.
If you’re an amateur artist with great work to display please submit pictures of your work to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re hoping to find enough aspiring local artists that we can have this show in place by the end of July.
A few of the details:
Art is to be displayed in our gallery from late July until early September.
All types of art and media are welcomed and encouraged.
