Rumors about of the best DJ duo’s of the late 00′s releasing a new album have been swirling for sometime, but their first release has left us wanting more.
I shouldn’t be surprised, Justice’s last and second album, Audio, Video, Disco (2011), was similarly a massive disappointment. The edge and brutal nature that defined their first album, † (2007) was nowhere to be seen and replaced with an arena rock sound.

And the less solid, but similarly dramatic “Audio, Video, Disco” from the album of the same name:
Oddly enough, I enjoyed an acoustic version of the second single, “Civilization,” more than the original track.
Whatever decent quality exists in the track above are simply not found on the rest of the album. It was heart breaking as tracks from † can still be found on my “recently played” list.
