Every bride needs to have their shining moment. And for Precious Davis, that moment will come this Friday, for the entire world to see.
Davis, a transgender woman, will be featured on TLC’s reality show “Say Yes to the Dress”, which follows women on the hunt for the perfect wedding dress.
Davis, 30, is the assistant director for diversity recruitment initiatives at Columbia College Chicago and was named on the 2014 Trans 100 List. She will become the first trans bride-to-be to be featured on the show.
“Our representation shows that we are human beings, that we have emotions, that we have a desire to be loved, and to be held, and to have happiness,” Davis told The Advocate in a recent interview.
