Just in the ol’ inbox, Firehouse Theatre will open tentatively open UBU ROI in September this year as part of their 23rd Season. They are opening auditions for the show now, details are below:
Firehouse Theatre will be holding auditions for its upcoming production of UBU 84. This production is a devised amalgam of George Orwell’s masterpiece 1984 and Alfred Jarry’s absurdist classic UBU ROI. Director James Ricks is looking for men and women of all ages and ethnic backgrounds who are willing to engage in physical exploration and creative collaboration.

Initial rehearsals begin in May, with a hiatus in June/July; performance run is late September thru late October.
