The 2014 Carytown Craft Beer Festival is ready to keep the suds flowing this weekend, and it’s learned from last year’s mistakes to make sure everyone has a blast this time around.
After turning away nearly 2000 people last year from Carycourt, The Carytown Merchants association realized they needed to make some changes. “We wanted a better experiences this year, and to make sure we didn’t turn anyone away,” said Raul Cantu, owner of Nacho Mama’s and President of the Carytown Merchants Association.
And thats why this year’s Craft Beer Festival will take place at the Diamond. ”Because of the space, the parking, and the natural barricades for ABC. IT was a win-win situation,” said Cantu.
But don’t let the new location fool you – this event will still feature the best Carytown has to offer.
“We’re bringing Carytown to the Diamond,” Cantu said. ”The only restaurants there will be Carytown restaurants, and the stores will have booths.”
Sounds like a solid plan, right? And much like a squirrels game, there will be plenty of parking and guidance for visitors to take part in the fun.
The festival is also offering VIP access which includes samples of beers the general audience will miss out on. VIP tickets will also get you early access to the event, starting at 11 AM, while general admission will get you in at noon.
And to make the deal even sweeter, we’ve got two pairs of tickets to give away to the festival! Click through the widget below and follow the directions for your chance to win! Keep an eye out in your email Friday afternoon as that’s how we’ll contact winners.
