Read More: Beer, Richmond Beer Week

beerweek

I admit I have known about this for awhile but it still kind of snuck up on me.  Richmond Beer Week started Friday, November 5th, and continues until the 12th.  There are a lot of events to choose from happening all week.  Here are my top five, in no particular order.

1. Schlafly Collaboration Dish — Capital Alehouse Downtown – Nov 11 5pm

Beer and food pairing event with Schlafly Brewing’s Director of Pub Operations, Andy White.  Andy will use his extensive culinary background as he works with Executive Chef Adam Hall to create a dish to compliment Schlafly beers on draft that evening.

2. Mega Tasting at Once Upon a Vine-South — Nov 8th at 4pm

Sample 30+ limited release beers from breweries including Allagash, Dogfishhead, Uinta, and more.

3. Beer Theater with Ommegang’s Phil Leinhart — Nov 9th 6 pm

Chat live over the internet with the brewmaster as you sample his beers.

4. Gravity Poured Pin Extravaganza! - Belvidere at Broad — Nov 10th 7pm

Come enjoy 5 cask ales being served at a restaurant not only known for their great food but their great beer selection.  Beer and a burger, I’m in!

Those are just 4 choices of many.  Check out many more here.
