Boobs. Men love them, even the gay ones. They come in such a wide assortment of shapes and sizes. But who knew they also come in an assortment of materials. Whether they are latex, rice, socks, water, gel, or flesh and blood, what really counts is they are yours and you embrace them. I made mine in 10 minutes on the first night of “the Race”; they are made from a package of cotton balls and the cheapest pair of stockings I could find. They are light enough not to weigh down my bra and dense enough to have depth and structure.

As a man I have nice pectorals (I think). They are defined and firm and they fit my slim body well. I have worked hard on what little I have. As a drag queen they are a disadvantage for they give me no cleavage. Girls who half a bit more “flesh” than I can pull their pecs together with duct tape (Drag Queens love their duct tape) and make a perfect feminine curve out of a masculine sternum. Magnolia Jackson Picket Burnside has a bangin’ pair of drag breasts, they are good enough to “motorboat” upon. My smaller frame fits my breasts well, and they only cost about $2.50.

I have been performing on a stage since I was 9 years old. I did plays with a children’s theater in Charlottesville till 9th grade. In high school I worked on every show we produced and performed in all but two. After graduation, I “opted out” of college and worked with Live Arts, Foolery and Four County Players in and around the Charlottesville area. I moved to Richmond in 2002 and toured professionally with Theatre IV for 3 ½ years with over 2000 performances in 25 states under my belt.

In all that time I was never more nervous than I was this past Thursday night, and I loved every second of it! The energy from the crowd was electrifying and you could tell they were glad they had come out on a school night. I love a good audience. They feed you, they give you instant feedback and will show in their faces and bodies how well you are doing your job. The men and women (and everything in between) at Esta’s Drag Race are an awesome audience. Each person has his or her own favorite, a girl for whom they want a spot in the final four of week seven. And each performer up there is in-it-to-win-it, and will give all she’s got to make it as far as she can.

Andrea Devon has amazing talent and can rock out a number better than a lot of performers I have seen. She has confidence that is infectious and you can tell she loves the music she picks. Her tall stature and muscular physique give her a powerful and strong silhouette that is still incredibly beautiful and feminine. As I get ready for the third week of competition, I have in the back of my mind a sense of reasonability to her. I want to jump high to clear the bar she has raised. Love to Miss Devon.
