From Equality Virginia:

The National Equality March on Washington, DC is set for the weekend of October 10-11, 2009.  The goal of the march is to assemble a group of folks representing each of the 435 congressional districts in the nation.  The purpose of this goal is for people at the local level to come together, be empowered, and return home more able to continue our shared work for equality in our own communities.

In this spirit, Equality Virginia is also hoping to see a contingency of folks from each of Virginia’s 11 congressional districts in attendance and we want to help people connect and organize for this special event.

  • If you are interested in going and would like to connect with other interested people in your area…
  • OR, if you’ve already started organizing a group in your community and would like for Equality Virginia to direct other interested local people to you…

Please contact Charles Dyson at cdyson@equalityvirginia.org.
