It’s the longest-running theatrical release in film history. Watching this bizarre parody of the science-fiction and horror genres is not a passive event (except for maybe virgins). With its overt leniency toward yelling at the screen, throwing props and costumed re-enactments, “Rocky Horror” is the quintessential midnight-movie-going experience.
